These Terms and Conditions set forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the www.preparedacademy.com website, " PreparEd Academy " mobile application and any of their related products and services. By accessing and using the services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms. If you are accepting this Terms and Conditions on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this Terms and Conditions, in which case the terms "user", "you" or "your" shall refer to such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions, you must not accept this and may not access and use the services.
By downloading or using the app/website, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app/website. You’re not allowed to copy, or modify the app/website, any part of the app/website, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app/website, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the app/website into other languages, or make derivative versions. The app/website itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to PreparEd Academy.
PreparEd Academy is committed to ensuring that the app/website is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app/website or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason.
The PreparEd Academy app/website stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us, in order to provide our Service. It’s your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app/website secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features and it could mean that the PreparEd Academy app/website won’t work properly or at all.
We perform regular backups of the Website and its Content and will do our best to ensure completeness and accuracy of these backups. In the event of the hardware failure or data loss we will restore backups automatically to minimize the impact and downtime.
You should be aware that there are certain things that PreparEd Academy will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app/website will require the app/website to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your mobile network provider, but PreparEd Academy cannot take responsibility for the app/website not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left. If you’re using the app/website outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that your terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply.
In additionto other terms as set forth here, you are prohibited from using the Services or Content:
(a) for any unlawful purpose;
(b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawfulacts;
(c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances;
(d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rightsor th e intellectual property rights of others;
(e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation,religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability;
(f) to submit false or misleading information;
(g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Services, third party products and services, or the Internet;
(h) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape;
(i) for any obscene or immoral purpose;
(j) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Services, third party products and services, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Services for violating any of the prohibited uses.
With respect to PreparEd Academy’s responsibility for your use of the app/website, when you’re using the app/website, it’s important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times. PreparEd Academy accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app/website.
At some point, we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on Android – the requirements for system(and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the app to) may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. PreparEd Academy does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the Android version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you, We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.
You may be required to register with the Application. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
We reserve the right to update our Terms and Conditions from time to time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Agreement on the Services. When we do, we will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page and revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Services after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
